Itinerary

DAY 1: NAIROBI - NAIVASHA

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly received by our safari representative who will welcome you to Kenya and thereafter,  you will be transferred to Naivasha with a brief stop at the Rift Valley view point to enjoy the stunning views of what is the considered the largest valley. Arrive Naivasha for check-in and relaxation. Overnight at Sopa Lodge .

DAY 2: LAKE NAIVASHA

On this day after breakfast, we head-out for a morning guided boat ride and walking safari at the Crescent Island. The walk will take approximately 2hrs. Return back to camp for lunch. After lunch, you have the option of heading out for a cycling trip to hell’s Gate National park or spending your time enjoying the hotel facilities. Dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge.

DAY 3: LAKE NAIVASHA - LOITA PLAINS

After a steaming cup of coffee/tea, your driver guide will transfer you to Loita Plains for a two night stay.  Arrive Loita plains in time for lunch and relaxation. Activities here include: Nature walks, cultural experiences, fire making, beading, walking safaris, Maasai homestay visit, school and hot spring visit among many others.

After lunch, camp orientation, guided nature walks and Maasai village visit will follow. Return back to camp late afternoon  for an organized Maasai style fire making presentation followed by winding down the day with camp fire stories. Dinner and overnight at Maji Moto Eco Camp

DAY 4: LOITA PLAINS FULL DAY

Immediately after breakfast, Maasai Warrior training - measuring skills in Sasol stick fighting, spear throwing and archery will be organized. After this, you start your trekking safari with boxed lunches in search of the popular wildlife around this area. Your local Maasai guide will be your field guide full of interesting facts of nature and wildlife.

In the afternoon, descent to Maji Moto village centre and Hot Springs, to check out how life runs in these small remote African village. Winding down the day with camp fire stories and singing. Beading with Maasai women can be organized too. Dinner and overnight at Maji Moto Eco Camp

DAY 5: LOITA PLAINS - MAASAI MARA

Rise up early for breakfast and thereafter depart for Maasai Mara. If time permits, on our way, we shall visit a Maasai school to interact with the kids before proceeding to Maasai Mara. School visits by travelers usually causes a lot of excitement among school kids. Arrive Maasai Mara in time for lunch and thereafter, an introductory game drive will follow. Dinner and overnight at Enkorok Tented Camp

DAY 6: MAASAI MARA

Enjoy a full day in Mara Reserve with an option of full day game viewing drive with picnic lunch or have two game drives, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon after lunch.

Maasai Mara is home to the big five (Buffalo, Rhino, Elephant, Lion and Leopard) and is world famous as one of the 8 wonders of the world due to the annual wildebeest migration that occurs between July to October as they cross over from Tanzania to Kenya and back. Dinner and Overnight at Enkorok Tented Camp.

DAY 7: MAASAI MARA - NAIROBI - MOMBASA

On this day, we say our good byes to Maasai Mara and drive to Nairobi. Arrive Nairobi in the afternoon – lunch at Tamambo restaurant. If time permits, your driver guide will take you to giraffe Centre to feed the giraffes…The Centre is known for the conservation of the endangered Rothschild giraffes. In the evening, you will be transferred to SGR train station to catch your night train to Mombasa.

DAY 8: TRANSFER TO DIANI

Upon arrival in Mombasa, our driver guide will transfer you to your hotel in Diani for check-in and relaxation. Dinner and overnight at Neptune Beach Resort, Diani

DAY 9 & DAY 10: DIANI FULL DAY (RELAXATION/OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES)

You have the option of Spending this two days relaxing and enjoying hotel facilities or booking a dolphin, snorkeling  and boat safari in Wasini Island. You can also visit the Mijikenda people in their villages and experience their way of life. Dinner and overnight at Neptune Beach Resort, Diani

DAY 11: FLY BACK HOME

On this day, our safari representative will transfer you to the airport to catch your flight back home.
