5 Days Uganda Gorilla & Chimpanzee Trekking Safari

Meet and greet with our safari representative at the pick up point and thereafter, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park. It's a long drive of approximately 5-6hrs and you will have an opportunity to explore the beautiful country side of Uganda. Arrive in time for lunch and relaxation. Dinner and overnight at Turaco Treetops Lodge.

Rise up for breakfast and thereafter, your driver guide will transfer (i.e with lunch box) you to the park headquarter for Chimpanzee trekking briefing. After briefing, start the Trek in the rain forest in search of the habituated chimpanzee family. You will be allowed to spend with the family 1hr in their natural habitat as you take pictures and study their behaviours.

Aside from the chimpanzees expect to see the following Grey cheeked Mangabey's, Baboons, monkeys and different species of birds.

If time permits proceed for a nature walk safari to Bigodi Swamp. The swamp is a home to over 200 species of birds, various primates and mammals.

Dinner and overnight at Turaco Treetops lodge.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. The drive will take approximately 6-7hrs. Arrive late afternoon for lunch and check-in. Spend your afternoon relaxing and enjoying nature around the camp. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Leisure Lodge/Four Gorillas Lodge.

Wake up early for breakfast and thereafter, depart for the Gorilla Trek briefing at the park visitors centre.  Here, the game rangers will assign you a gorilla family which you will track. Please ensure you carry your lunch box and enough drinking water for the day.  The trek is expected to last between 2 - 7hrs. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Leisure Lodge/Four Gorillas Lodge.

This being our last day of the trip, we rise up early for a steaming cup of Ugandan coffee/tea and thereafter, depart for Kampala/Entebbe Airport. Arrival is expected just before dark.
