Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi > Limuru
For the Kenya Highlights Safari, you will be met upon arrival at JKIA by a Fat Rhinos Travel representative, briefed and driven through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantation to the cool Kenyan highlands to arrive at the resort in time for lunch. All meals and the overnight stay are at the resort.

Day 2: Limuru > Masai Mara
Depart Limuru, after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world famous Maasai Mara game reserve, arriving at the camp in time for lunch. At 1600hrs enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3, 4 – Maasai Mara
Full day in the reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives at 0630hrs and 1600hrs respectively. The Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti and its rolling plains are home to hundreds of plains game together with predators that feed on them. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 5: Maasai Mara > Entim Mara
Early morning game drive, and after breakfast, checks out and drives northwards to the Mara extension. Arriving at Entim in time for lunch. Entim Mara is located in the main reserve and overlooks the Mara River, one of the major wildebeest crossing point is right in front of the camp. Guests have the pleasure of watching the migration from the campgrounds.

Day 6: Maasai Mara > Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, with picnic lunch for Naivasha to arrive at Mt. Longonot National Park and start the hike to the peak of Mt. Longonot and enjoy the scenery. You may go round the crater before hiking down the Mt. Longonot 2:30 pm: Relax & have a short break as you network before embarking on your to Lake Naivasha country club after lunch. At 1600hrs, enjoy an optional boat ride with a visit to Crescent Island, on Lake Naivasha. Dinner and overnight at the club.

Day 7: Lake Naivasha > Samburu Game Reserve
Depart after breakfast and drive north through the Kenyan Highlands to arrive at the Samburu Intrepid in time for lunch. At 1600hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive within the park to introduce you to the game in the area. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 8, 9: Samburu Game Reserve
Full day in the reserve with game drives at 0630hrs and 1600hrs respectively. Samburu is famous for its rare mammals that only survive north of the equator. These are the gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Beira Oryx and grevy’s zebra. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 10: Samburu Game Reserve > Mt. Kenya
Check out after breakfast, drive north into Central Kenya past sisal, coffee, tea and horticultural farms en route to Mountain Serena Lodge. The remainder of the day is spent in the Lodge precincts, game viewing from the numerous decks overlooking a floodlit salt lick/waterhole where animals come to drink and frolick. Lunch, dinner, and overnight at the lodge.

Day 11: Mt. Kenya > Nairobi > Tsavo West
Early breakfast at the lodge then rejoin your safari driver for the return drive to Nairobi, arriving at about noon, lunch at the Stanley Hotel in Nairobi. Free time in the city and transfer to the Wilson Aiport to catch your 1505hrs flight to Tsavo. Upon arrival met and transferred to the Voyager Ziwani crew and a leisurely afternoon is spent before enjoying the scheduled evening game drive. Tsavo West National park is more popular as opposed to the adjacent Tsavo East owing to major landmarks crater’s rim climb, volcanoes, mud pots, and abundant wildlife. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 12, 13: Tsavo West
After early breakfast, enjoy a morning game in Tsavo West, back to the lodge relax and at 1600hrs enjoy an evening game drive. Lunch, dinner, and overnight at the lodge.

Day 14: Tsavo > Nairobi
Depart the Tsavo after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving early afternoon. Lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant, justifiably referred to as Africa’s Greatest Eating Experience, having twice been voted amongst the world’s 50 best restaurants by UK based Restaurant magazine. Drop off at the hotel in Nairobi.
Accommodation: Hilton Hotel
Day 15: Nairobi > JKIA
Pick from the hotel depending on the flight at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.
